    Dividend recommendation of EUR 0.60 per share compared to previously EUR 0.10 per share

    The management and supervisory board decided at their spring meeting on 5 April 2011 that the shareholder's meeting will take place in the abba Berlin Hotel, Lietzenburger Straße 87, 10719 Berlin on 30 June 2011 at 10.30 a.m. The shareholder's meeting will propose the approval for the payment of a dividend of EUR 0.60 per share which is a sixfold increase compared to the previous year. The present dividend policy to distribute a maximum share of the profit will therefore be continued.
  1. For the Summer Auctions of the wholly-owned subsidiary companies of Deutsche Grundstücksauktion AG, the admission of properties into the auctions is completed. The catalogues of Sächsische Grundstücksauktionen AG, Norddeutschen Grundstücks­auktionen AG and Brecht Immobilien (Auktionen) GmbH will be published before Easter. 

    Sächsische Grundstücksauktionen AG has reached a total of five million for their reserve prices which is more than they have ever achieved in their company history. 

    Norddeutsche Grundstücksauktionen AG celebrates its 10-year anniversary and 75th auction with a special catalogue that contains, amongst others, a dozen attractive properties on the islands Rügen and Usedom. 

    The company Brecht Immobilien (Auktionen) GmbH relocates their auction location from the Europa Center to central Berlin. The auctions will take place in the historic banking hall of the Humbold Carré, Behrenstraße 42 in 10117 Berlin. The former bank building was elaborately renovated to a high standard and converted into an office and conference building. In these premises Brecht Immobilien (Auktionen) GmbH has excellent conditions for the professional execution of real estate auctions.

Deutsche Grundstücksauktionen AG (DGA) and its subsidiaries, the market leaders of real estate auctions in Germany, have generated a property turnover of EUR 89.2 million in the business year 2010 (2009: EUR 79 million) (as already announced in January 2011). This result is approx. 12 % above the previous year. The commission revenue rose to more than EUR 9.275 (+ 8.7 % compared to the previous year).

    Market Trend 2010

    The real estate market has developed very dynamically since the early summer. While the turnover of the Spring Auctions remained on a similar level to that in the previous year, the other three auctions all reached better results than in 2009. 

    This significantly improved market environment as well as the structural reduction of costs were key factors in the corporate success in 2010. 

    Prospect of 2011

    All auction houses of the Group have increased their property and commission turnover at the Spring Auctions 2011. The property turnover rose at a rate of approx. 55 % to EUR 26.2 million (previous year EUR 17 million). The net commission obtained was also significantly higher than in the previous year (EUR 2.6 million compared to EUR 1.85 million in 2010). More than 90 % of the called-out properties were sold. The results of the Spring Auctions 2011 give us reason to be optimistic for the further business development of this year.
