Annual Result 2011/Name change: From "Brecht Immobilien" into "Plettner & Brecht Immobilien"

Deutsche Grundstücksauktionen AG (ISIN DE0005533400) and its five subsidiaries look back at a highly successful business year 2011. The property and commission turnover was significantly increased.

2,236 properties were sold in total for € 92,624,231, which is an increase of 4 % compared to the previous year (€ 89,161,029). The sales quota increased to almost 88 %. Particularly positive is the disproportionate increase of the adjusted commission revenue from just under € 9.3 million in the previous year to more than € 10.4 million (+ 12.5 %).

The low interest rates and the high interest of investors in material assets have stimulated the auction business in 2011 noticeably. Purchasers were both German buyers and increasingly international buyers again.

On account of the good results we expect a significant increase of the dividend. The precise dividend recommendation as well as the date for the shareholder's meeting 2012 will be announced at the start of April 2012.
